Crenichthys, or the springfish, is a genus of goodeid fish consisting of two species endemic to Nevada, United States, where small populations are found in isolated warm springs.Distinctive characteristics include the loss of the pelvic fins, a relatively large anal fin and one or two rows of black spots along each side. Maximum size is 5 cm (2 in).
