General Daniel Isom Sultan, (December 9, 1885 – January 14, 1947) was an American General during World War II. He fought in the China-Burma-India theater at the last half of the war. He was born in Oxford, Mississippi and later attended the University of Mississippi, before transferring to West Point. While at the university, he was initiated into the Sigma Chi fraternity.
