David John Constant (born 9 November 1941) played 61 first-class cricket matches from 1961 to 1968 for Kent and Leicestershire. He later became an international cricket umpire, officiating in 36 Tests from 1971 to 1988 and 33 one-day internationals from 1972 to 2001. Constant commenced his first-class cricket career with English county side Kent in 1961, moving to Leicestershire in 1965 and playing there until 1968.
