David Bartlett Rees (8 May 1936 – 22 May 1993) was a British author, lecturer and reviewer, known especially for children's and young-adult fiction. For The Exeter Blitz he won the 1978 Carnegie Medal from the Library Association, recognising the year's best children's book by a British subject.
