Dame DeAnne Shirley Julius, DCMG, CBE (born April 14, 1949) is a former intelligence analyst for the CIA and an American-British economist, notable as a founder member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England.She began her active career as a project economist with the World Bank in Washington and has handled extensive roles in the private sector. From (July) 2003–12 she was Chairman of Chatham House (formally known as The Royal Institute of International Affairs), in London.
