Ding Shisun (Chinese: 丁石孙; pinyin: Dīng Shísūn; born September 5, 1927) is a mathematician and retired politician of the People's Republic of China. He served as President of Peking University and Chairman of the China Democratic League.Born in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, Ding graduated from the Department of Mathematics of Tsinghua University. From 1984 to 1989, Ding served as the president of Peking University.
