Major-General Douglas Neil Wimberley CB DSO MC (15 August 1896 – 26 August 1983) was commander of the 51st (Highland) Division at the Second Battle of El Alamein in the Second World War and lead it across North Africa to Sicily.A career soldier, he became an officer during the Great War of 1914-1918 on the Western Front.
