In the epic Mahabharata, Drona (Sanskrit: द्रोण, Drona) or Dronacharya (Sanskrit: द्रोणाचार्य, Dronacharya) or Gurudrona (Sanskrit-गुरुद्रोण) was the royal preceptor to Kauravas and Pandavas.
