Eliaquim Mangala (born 13 February 1991) is a French professional footballer who plays for English club Manchester City and the France national football team as a central defender.Born in France, he moved to Belgium as a child and began his career there at Standard Liège, going onto FC Porto in 2011 where he won consecutive Primeira Liga titles before joining Manchester City for £31.8 million.Mangala made his debut with the French national team on 6 June 2013 against Uruguay, and was included in the nation's squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
