Ellen J. Tronnier (June 28, 1927 – May 21, 2015) was an outfielder who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Listed at 5'6" (1.71 m), 135 lb. (61 k), she batted and threw right handed.The AAGPBL emerged in the spring of 1943, being formed as a non-profit organization as an initiative of Philip K. Wrigley, chewing gum magnate and owner of the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball club.
