Elmer is a town in Jackson County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 96 at the 2010 census. On May 16, 2015, the town was nearly hit by an extremely large and violent wedge tornado as it passed two miles south, damaging three homes and a barn that housed a number of pieces of expensive farm equipment.
