Emerson "Doc" Beauchamp (June 14, 1899 – April 15, 1971) served as the 41st Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky, under Governor Lawrence Wetherby."Doc" Beauchamp was from Logan County, Kentucky. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I and World War II. He served in the Kentucky Senate from 1944 through 1946. He was elected Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky in 1951 and served 1951-55. Beauchamp was a Kentucky delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1952, 1956 and 1960.
