Emlyn Watkins (21 September 1904 — 15 May 1978 (aged 73)) born in Blaina, was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s, playing representative level rugby union (RU) for Wales, and at club level for Blaina RFC, as a Flanker, i.e. number 6 or 7, and playing representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Leeds, as a Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, during contested scrums, he died in Walsall
