Emmanuelle Alt (born 18 May 1967 in Paris, France) is the editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris since February 2011, succeeding Carine Roitfeld. Alt had been fashion director of the magazine from 2000, when Roitfeld assumed the chief editor’s position and hired Alt directly from Mixte magazine.Alt, who studied at the Assomption-Lübeck school (Institut de l'Assomption) in Paris, has a makeup free youthful appearance and often wears jeans while eschewing dresses and skirts.
