Erie Commodores FC is an American soccer team based in Erie, Pennsylvania, United States. It was founded in 2009 and plays in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national amateur league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team plays their home games at Gus Anderson Field. The "Commodores" name alludes to Erie-based Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, a naval commander during the Battle of Lake Erie, a flashpoint of the War of 1812.
