Eye is the ninth studio album released by Robyn Hitchcock in 1990 on Glass Fish (UK) and Twin/Tone Records (US) and is his fourth solo album, and eighth including his work with The Egyptians. (This solo effort interrupted a series of releases by Robyn Hitchcock & The Egyptians for A&M.) Eye was recorded acoustically in the style of I Often Dream Of Trains (1984) with which it shares a similar green/gold sleeve design, and could therefore be seen as a sequel piece.
