Fayette County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 106,567. The county seat is Fayetteville, which is located on the Flint River.Fayette County is included in the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell, GA Metropolitan Statistical Area and is located south of Fulton County and the state capital of Atlanta.
