Firebug was a 1982 computer game by MUSE Software for the Apple II computer. The game was released on cassette tape and on floppy disk. It was written by Silas Warner, whose most famous accomplishment was Castle Wolfenstein. The player controlled a "firebug", a 3-by-3-pixel square with a tail stretching behind it. The player picked up gas cans—each represented by a single pixel on the screen—and dropped a can by pressing the joystick button.
