François Delattre (born 15 November 1963) was appointed by President François Hollande on June 12, 2014, Permanent Representative of the French Republic to the United Nations and Head of the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations in New York effective 15 July 2014.He was the Ambassador of the French Republic to the United States of America until 14 June 2014, an appointment made in February 2011 by President Nicolas Sarkozy.
