Freddie Strahan (born 21 December 1938 in Kilmainham, Dublin) is an Irish former professional soccer player.He is the only League of Ireland player to score for the Republic of Ireland against England during their 14 meetings since 1946. He played hurling until the age of sixteen, before he signed for Shelbourne F.C. in 1957. He won 5 caps for Ireland at senior international level.
