Freilassing (German pronunciation: [fʁaɪˈlasɪŋ]) is a municipality of some 16,000 inhabitants in the southeastern corner of Bavaria, Germany. Freilassing can be seen as the biggest suburb of Salzburg, the famous Austrian city just on the other side of the border.
