Fuheis (Arabic: الفحيص) (also Fuhais) is a town in the Jordanian governorate of Balqa, just 20 kilometers northwest of Amman. The town has town of 20,000 residents, And is an overtly Christian-dominated locality. It is located in an intermediate vicinity to the cities of Salt and Amman.The population of Fuheis is estimated to be 20,000 in 2008, the male-to-female ratio in the city is 52%–48%. Jordanian citizens make up 87% of the population of Fuheis.
