Günther Sachs (4 May 1903 – 15 July 1962) was a highly decorated Generalleutnant in the Luftwaffe during World War II who commanded the 18. Flak-Division. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Günther Sachs was captured by Allied troops in 1945 and was released in 1948.
