Ganjikunta is a village in the Vijrakarur mandal of Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh, India. The village represents the remains of the town of Ganjikunta which burnt down in the 1750s. The town was mostly autonomous before the fire but the fire killed a majority of the population and the town's infrastructure. The village remained semi-autonomous as a British protectorate until it was annexed in 1917.
