Georg Hurdelbrink (6 October 1919 — 26 August 2002) was an Obersturmführer (First Lieutenant) in the Waffen-SS during World War II. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, which was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany during World War II.Georg Hurdelbrink was born on the 16 October 1919 in Altenmelle near Niedersachsen. During World War II he volunteered to join the Waffen SS and was commissioned in April 1942.
