George Clinton Sweeney (July 23, 1895 – November 5, 1966) was a United States federal judge.Born in Gardner, Massachusetts, Sweeney received an LL.B. from Georgetown University Law School in 1922. He was in the United States Army Sergeant from 1917 to 1918. He was in private practice in Gardner, Massachusetts from 1924 to 1935. He was a Mayor, Gardner, Massachusetts from 1931 to 1933. He was an Assistant attorney general of the U.S. from 1933 to 1935.
