Gordon Richard Slemon, OC (August 15, 1924 – September 26, 2011) was a Canadian electrical engineer and professor.Born in Bowmanville, Ontario, he received a B.A.Sc. in electrical engineering in 1946 and a M.A.Sc. in electrical engineering in 1948 from the University of Toronto. He received a Ph.D. from the University of London in 1952.From 1953 to 1955, he was an Assistant Professor at the Nova Scotia Technical College.
