Gotthard Daniel Fritzsche[p] (20 July 1797[b] – 26 October 1863) was a European-born Lutheran pastor who emigrated to Australia, becoming instrumental in furthering that religion there. He was born in Liebenwerda, Saxony, Germany, and migrated to Australia in 1841. From 1842–1863, he was pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. He died and was buried at Lobethal, South Australia.
