Grant Shapps (born 14 September 1968) is a British Conservative Party politician, the current Minister of State at the Department for International Development. A former co-chairman of the Conservative Party, he is the member of parliament for Welwyn Hatfield in England. He first won the seat, as Grant V Shapps, in the general election of 5 May 2005.
