Griffin is a town in Bethel Township, Posey County, Indiana, United States, which was incorporated in 1881 and named after Samuel Griffin. The town of Griffin was originally known as "Price's Station!" The town was divided in the center by an E/W directional railroad. Immediately west of the center of town was the railroad depot. The town's first name, "Price's Station," hung outside on the depot.
