Gunvant Shah (Gujarati: ગુણવંત શાહ), also known as Dr. Gunvant B. Shah, (born in 1937, at Rander in Surat, India) is a noted thinker, writer and columnist. He is the recipient of Ranjitram Suvarna Chandrak in 1997, founded by Gujarat Sahitya Sabha and considered the highest literary award in Gujarati literature. He was awarded Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of India, in 2015.
