The Gympie Music Muster is an Australian country music festival held in Gympie, Queensland. It was started as a community fundraiser in 1982 and has grown to a six-day festival attracting musicians from Australia and elsewhere. The 2011 Gympie Muster attracted a crowd of 60,000.The music festival is sited in the Amamoor Forest Reserve. In 2012, a fully equipped field hospital was staffed in an effort to ensure safety and deal with medical emergencies.
