Harold Jack Bloom (April 26, 1924 – August 27, 1999) was a television producer and screenwriter who scored a notable hit with his first major screenplay to the classic Anthony Mann Western The Naked Spur in 1953, earning an Oscar nomination in the process.Apart from the odd film script, most of his career was spent writing for television. He worked on such series as Bonanza, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
