Harry E. Kinney (1924 – May 9, 2006) was Mayor of Albuquerque for two terms, from 1974—77 and 1981—1985, as well as Chairman of the City Commission from 1971—1973. Before entering politics, he worked as an engineer; after his retirement from public life, he was a substitute teacher in the Albuquerque public schools. He also drove a taxi for a while after his term in office.
