Henry Vane, 1st Earl of Darlington PC (c. 1705 – 6 March 1758) was an English peer, the son of Gilbert Vane, 2nd Baron Barnard.Vane was Whig MP for Launceston from 1726 to 1727, St Mawes between 1727 and 1741 and Ripon between 1741 and 1747 and County Durham between 1747 and 1753.He was Vice Treasurer and Paymaster General of Ireland between 1742 and 1744 and became a Privy Counsellor (Ireland) in 1742.
