Hersekzade or Hersekli Ahmed Pasha("Ahmed Pasha, son of the Herzog"; South Slavic languages: Ahmed-paša Hercegović; Aхмед-паша Херцеговић; 1459 – 21 July 1517) was an Ottoman general and statesman, known in his youth as Stjepan Hercegović. Stjepan was born into the Kosača family in c. 1459. He was the third son of Stjepan Vukčić Kosača, Duke of Saint Sava, the most powerful noblemen in the Kingdom of Bosnia.
