Himarë (from Greek: Χειμάρρα, Himarra, definite Albanian form: Himara) is a bilingual region and municipality along the Albanian Riviera in southern Albania and part of the Vlorë County. The present municipality was formed at the 2015 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities Himarë, Horë-Vranisht and Lukovë, that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the town Himarë. The total population is 5,738 (2011 census), in a total area of 571.94 km2.
