Hudson Irving (birth registered October→December 1912 — 12 April 1947) birth registered in Cockermouth district, was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s and '40s, playing at representative level for England, Cumberland, and Yorkshire, and at club level for Halifax, as a Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12 during the era of contested scrums, he died in Halifax.
