Ian Blackford (born 14 May 1961) is a Scottish National Party (SNP) politician. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ross, Skye and Lochaber since May 2015.He was formerly the national treasurer of the SNP. Since 2002, together with his wife Ann, he has run a consultancy business called First Seer. Amongst other things Ian and Ann run a croft on the Isle of Skye. He previously worked in the financial industry.
