Interstate 85 (I-85) is a major Interstate Highway that runs northeast–southwest in the U.S. state of Georgia. It exists from the Alabama border near West Point, and Lanett, Alabama, running through Metropolitan Atlanta, and traveling to the border with South Carolina, where it crosses the Savannah River near Lake Hartwell.
