Ivan Angelov (Bulgarian: Иван Ангелов; born January 21, 1979 in Vratsa) is a retired Bulgarian swimmer, who specialized in backstroke events. He is a single-time Olympian (2000), and a former Bulgarian record holder in 50, 100, and 200 m backstroke. During his sporting career, Angelov also trained for Liulin Sports Club in Sofia under his personal coaches Valentin Yordanov and Liliana Hristeva.Angelov competed in a backstroke double at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.
