Jacob Kitchline "Guesses" Virtue (March 2, 1865 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – February 3, 1943 in Camden, New Jersey) was a first baseman in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1890 to 1894. He played for the Cleveland Spiders of the National League (NL). During the split-season format played in 1892, he was Cleveland's first baseman when they won the second half of the season but ultimately lost the NL pennant to Boston.
