Jean Augustine PC CM CBE (born September 9, 1937 in St. George's, Grenada) is a Grenadan/Canadian educational administrator, advocate for social justice, and politician. She is the first African Canadian woman to be elected to the Canadian House of Commons and the first to serve in the federal Cabinet. From 1993 to 2005, Augustine was a Liberal member of the Canadian House of Commons, representing the riding of Etobicoke—Lakeshore in Ontario.
