Joseph Adélard Descarries (November 7, 1853 – July 25, 1927) was a French Canadian lawyer and politician.Born in Saint-Timothée, Canada East, and educated at McGill University and Université Laval. He studied law with Alexandre Lacoste, was called to the Quebec Bar in 1879 and was created a Queen's Counsel in 1903.From 1897 to 1906, he was mayor of Lachine, Quebec. In 1882, 1883, and 1884, he ran unsuccessfully for the Legislative Assembly of Quebec.
