Joseph Calhoun (October 22, 1750 – April 14, 1817) was a Republican member of the South Carolina House of Representatives (1804–1805) and represented South Carolina in the United States House of Representatives (1807–1811). Born in Staunton, Augusta County, Virginia, he moved with his father to South Carolina in 1756 and settled in Granville District, on Little River, near the present town of Abbeville.Received a limited education and engaged in agricultural pursuits.
