Julie Bindel (born 20 July 1962) is an English writer, feminist and co-founder of the group Justice for Women, which opposes violence against women from a feminist viewpoint.A freelance journalist whose work regularly appears in The Guardian, Bindel's work strongly divides readers between admirers and detractors. Her primary areas of interest are lesbian rights, opposition to the sex industry, modern anti-trafficking campaigns and defending female victims of domestic violence.
