Dato' Haji Kamaruddin Jaafar (born 3 November 1951) is a Malaysian politician and is the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Tumpat constituency in Kelantan. He is a member of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) in the opposition Pakatan Rakyat coalition before he quit from PAS and joined PKR.Kamaruddin was a member of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) before switching to PAS in 1999.
