King Swope (August 10, 1893 - April 23, 1961) was a United States Representative from Kentucky. He was born in Danville, Kentucky. He attended the common schools and was graduated from Centre College, Danville, Kentucky in 1914 and from the law department of the University of Kentucky at Lexington in 1916. He was admitted to the bar in 1915 and commenced practice in Lexington, Kentucky.Swope enlisted and served during the First World War as captain of Infantry.
