Kinnula is a municipality of Finland.It is located in the Central Finland region. The municipality has a population of 1,741 (30 June 2015) and covers an area of 495.71 square kilometres (191.39 sq mi) of which 35.48 km2 (13.70 sq mi) is water. There are all together 66 lakes in Kinnula. Biggest lakes are Kivijärvi, Yläjäppä Alajäppä and Iso-Koirajärvi. The population density is 3.78 inhabitants per square kilometre (9.8/sq mi).
