Kolainiai is a village in Kelmė District Municipality, Lithuania. It is located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) southwest from Užventis. According to the 2011 census, it had population of 261.In 1750, local noble Adamkavičius bequeathed his manor and land with serfs to the Carmelites. He also built a monastery and a church for the monks. In 1797, the monks took over the administration of the Kražiai College, a former Jesuit school.
